General Instructions:
1. Experienced in having overall responsibility for the safe, efficient, cost effective reliable operation and maintenance of power plant, Leading, proactive and enthusiastic safety culture in the plant ensuring that all people working in the Plant will operate within safety and environmental guidelines, Working very closely with the Team and implementing the best O&M practices to bring a sustainable reliability of the Plant,
2. Establishing leading and lagging indicators for measuring the plant performance and setting the right targets / goals for people & plant, Ensuring effective & efficient planning of scheduled maintenance / annual outages and successful completion of such
3. Oversee Pre-bid engineering, Procurement & contract award, should have worked on detailed engineering and construction of, Power plant, Fuel delivery system(MGR), Transmission system (400 kV) and Ash disposal system meeting the overall project commitments and PPA. Finalization Tender Specifications including Qualification requirements, Technical specifications and Commercial contract for procurement of fuel efficient, proven and reliable power plant at competitive prices
4. Overall project programme generation and control. Advise on critical path for the project development and construction phase from time to time, including permitting processes like land acquisition, in particular private land and government (non-forest) land, forest clearance etc. Should have good experience in MS Project / Primavera software and experience of working in large infrastructure / power projects.
5. Thorough understanding and experience of operation and maintenance, safety and best practices of power plant, Understanding of Engineering design and construction of of Power Plant; conversant with modern Management practices in Finance, SCM, HR and high level of proficiency in written and verbal communination and presentation skills. Very good hands on experience in MS Powerpoint and MS excel
6. Experienced in formulating commercial strategy for the organization, provide the leadership with finance and accounting related advise and ensure compliance to financial related reporting and regulatory issues, Control operating costs by ensuring cost effective planning and execution strategies, Raise funds, Investment and Treasury Management,Utilisation of Surplus funds, Working Capital Management,
7. Revenue Management, Financial Concurrence and Capital Budgeting, Compilation of Accounts, Annual Budgets, Tax planning and execution. Should have sound knowledge in Indian GAAP, IFRS. Should have strong leadership skills. Preference for candidates with CFO exposure in large organisations.
8. Ensure timely General accounting and reporting and accounts consolidation, Monitor compliance with set accounting and reporting standards, ensure timeliness and accuracy of accounting for the organization, Monitor accounts payable
9. Responsible for the sourcing of materials and services, executing and managing commercial aspects of contracts, supplier relations and compliance for OPGC. This position creates value by implementing strategic sourcing and negotiating strategies, using formal RFX processes and leveraging the buying power of the region
10. Experienced in organising Board and Shareholders Meetings, draft minutes, obtain approvals and issue notices for General Meetings, Sub-committee Meetings, Ensure compliance to Company Law and other related Corporate Legislations, framing guidelines on Secretarial functions; v. Overseeing the equipment level and station level performance analysis and suggesting suitable solutions, etc.; Graduation in Law preferred
11. 4-5 years of post qualification experience in the executive cadre in the relevant area in a Govt./PSU or private company of repute. Must have experience in a power plant of capacity not less than 100MW, conversant with plant performance monitoring and modernmaintenance management tools like CMMS, RCA, RCM practices, spare parts planning, inventory
12. control and planning for annual overhauling/Capital overhauling,renovation and Modernization works, Execution of reliability centered maintenance practices and administration of Maintenance Management system.
13. 2 years of post qualification experience in the executive cadre in the Electrical Maintenance area of a Govt./PSU or private company of repute. Must have experience in a power plant of capacity not less than 100MW, conversant with modern maintenance management tools like CMMS, RCA,
14. Execution of reliability centered maintenance practices and administration ofMaintenance Management system. Perform a variety of administrative duties as well as responsible for EHS and other relevant compliances, provide plant budget forecasts, capex budgets, formulating strategy and cost minimisation.
15. 2-3 years of post qualification experience in the executive cadre in the Coal Handling Plant of a Govt./PSU or private company of repute. Must have experience in working Coal Handling Plant O&M team and keeping the Coal Plant running in a safe, stable,
16. RCM practices, spare parts planning, inventory control and planning, renovation and Modernization works, Execution of reliability centered maintenance practices and administration of Maintenance Management system. Perform a variety of administrative duties as well as responsible for EHS and other relevant compliances, provide plant budget forecasts, capex budgets, formulating strategy and cost minimisation.
17. 4-5 years of post qualification experience in liaisoning with Statutory authorities on issues related to occupational health and safety, internal communication and co-ordination related to health & safety, for renewal of License/Consents under Factory Act and other applicable acts, Safety awareness and training, Coordinating for investigation of accidents/ incidents
18. 8-12 years of post qualification experience in the executive cadre in the relevant area in a Govt./PSU or private company of repute. Must have experience in effective installation, configuration,operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure and preferably worked for at least one SAP implementation cycle. Responsible for operation and maintenance
19. should be from a reputed Mining/Exploration company / any Government organization handling detailed exploration for coal, geological mapping, geological modeling, evaluation of reserves, technical report writing, liaison with Govt. department and having knowledge in mine planning and operation.Should have experience in : Exploration of coal by Drilling of Check Boreholes in Mines.
20. 2-3 years of post qualification experience in the executive cadre in the relevant area of a Govt./PSU or private company of repute.Thorough understanding and exposure to applicable State and National policies / guidelines
21. 2-3 years of post qualification experience in the executive cadre in the relevant area of a Govt./PSU or private company of repute. Should have knowledge of Contract Labour Establishment Matters,Time Office, Statutory Returns including PF, Gate Pass, Statutory welfare etc., OR, Estate Administration including Quarter/Shop Allotment and rent, Diary Despatch, Auto Base, Travel Desk, Office equipments and stationery, etc OR Co-ordination with Schools clubs, managing Guest Houses, Games and sports, cultural activities etc
22. 2-3 years of post qualification experience in the executive cadre in the relevant area of a Govt./PSU or private company of repute.
